Random thought #3 - The thought on the mission

I know I shouldn't be updating my blog right about now. I have tons of stuff I have to do for Christmas! I'm doing something different this year for my self-made Christmas card. Nope, not a flat card this year. Some of u gotta wait for it. ;) Yeah only some.. It's a bigger project than I thought it'll be. Sorry.

Anyway.... Today topic, 'mission trip'. Small group the other day n we discussed this n I keep thinking about it, that's why I thought I should blog about it.

'What do you guys think when the word mission comes up?' twas one question brought up. Immediately a picture of this girl I know from collage popped up in mind. We r not really friends, she was one of the models for my fashion show.
Few months back I saw a picture of her on fb on a mission trip in Haiti w/ the local kids there n first thing popped up in my mind was 'WOW! That's awesome! I never would have thought that she would do something like going for a mission trip!'
Yeah, I know I guess I judged. But anyway, for real, I think people that go to mission trips like that are AWESOME. You wouldn't even believe the admiration I have for them.

How about me? Errmm.. I don't think I'd be able to do it. I don't think I have it in me.
A friend said 'I think you do, you don't need all the fancy stuff.. I think..' haha that's nice of him to say that he thinks I'm not a spoiled brat.
I mean yeah, I don't need all the fancy thing, I don't care about branded stuff-shocking I know since I'm in the fashion industry, I don't need to be wine and dine. I could sleep on the floor, go camping, or get down n dirty like having fun while changing a flat tire-but 'twas really fun. Lol!

Anywhooo! I'm not sure how would I be in a foreign place, I guess? Wait,  U.S. used to be a foreign place. Hmm. Lol! Ok, I honestly don't know, I don't really have a strong reason for saying 'I don't have it in me'. Maybe I'll be all into it when God decided to make me go to mission trip? Who knows.

What I really want to say is.. All of you missionaries out there are AWESOME! The time you sacrificed, heck you guys even sacrificed your lives. That's admirable!
I'm sure it's hard but keep doing what you are doing! I know God will bless you w/ a lot more!
Just taught this in Bethel Kids Church (name of the Sunday School at church I go to).."You reap MORE THAN you sow". I love Bethel Kids, I teach but I learn more than I teach! =D
