Random thought #2 - A Snap of a Finger

Wouldn't it be nice if just w/ a snap of a finger you can get whatever you wanted?
*SNAPPED* Girls lined up and dropped like flies - LOL to a certain someone. *SNAPPED* all your wishes came true. It probably would be. But would we value it? Probably not.

Think about it. Say a relationship - I know I know I use relationship a lot, hey.. it's what's been the topic in my life lately, so let's just go w/ it ok!??! lol! Ok, relationship, if we have it easy, we can get any boy/girl we want and be in relationship w/ them, wouldn't it be awesome? sounds like it, but really tho, would it be worth it? would we put effort into it? would we care much about it? Probably not.

One day, we were randomly talking about those Asian dramas, and it came up that I like the kind where the couples have to work hard to be together. This is what exactly I said.."gotta work for it yo!" and a guy friend of mine just giggle probably thinking.."oh girls!" lol!
Don't get me wrong, I H-A-T-E drama, but I like that kind of story line because it shows us how they worked hard, taking down every challenges came their way just to be together. And at the end when they are together, they value each other sooo very much and it's all worth it. =)

And NO girls and boys, I'm not trying to support you little ones or dang, EVEN people my age that play game all the time. Girls, playing hard to get may be ok at the beginning and yes guys like the chase but it gets old real fast. N boys, you know when they say 'usually when a boy teases/pranks a girl that means he likes her'. Yeah that, get old real fast too! *roll eyes*
Just show that you are thoughtful and caring, it works so much better and faster! That lil game, you can play it every now and then just to add a lil spark in your relationship. Think B-A-L-A-N-C-E, it's key, a relationship that's stay the same and monotone gets boring too. Keep each other on each other's toes! ;p

Also, I've learned to never say never - so not quoting Beiber's song here! LOL! But really, we don't know what will happen in the future. Whether we want to believe it or not, our lives are in God's hands.
So this question comes up a lot to me, don't know if it's just random or it was a serious question.. LOL! 'would you ever date (insert name here)?' Don't get me wrong most of my guy friends are awesome! They are jerky gentlemen! LOL! They could be jerks-the funny kind tho, but all in all they are awesome and any girl would be lucky to date them.--> such a proud friend I am! ;p
But why did I say 'no' to the question asked? If they are awesome, why don't I date them? Ok, first of all, I'm sure none of them think of me that way. So why bother? LOL! And well, I for one believe that boys and girls can be just friends. Obviously I like them! I wouldn't be friends w/ people I don't like. LOL!
I said 'no' at the moment because I guess I don't see them that way in this moment. A week, a month, or a year from now, who knows what will happen?!

I know God will provide what is best for us and that includes soulmate. We never know, the one for you could be under your nose all this time, he/she could be that one friend that you always think 'oh come on he and I? no way!' Or the annoying little OR big ones.

Whatever it is, in everything in life never say never. God has His plan for us. No matter how hard we try to control our lives, at the end of the day, He is the one in control.
Our lives may not be as easy as a snap of a finger, but He ALWAYS makes it worth while. I believe that in most definitely.

I know it's freakin hard to just let God controls our lives. Heck, I got upset when I don't get what I want too. I sometimes questioned God, "why God, why don't you answer my prayer?"
Last Sunday, I think PJ said something like, "it's not like He doesn't answer your prayer, maybe that's your answer, Him not giving it to you, He has a better plan. Or He hasn't answer your prayer just yet. Be patient. Don't get discourage".
23 At that time you won’t need to ask me for anything. I tell you the truth, you will ask the Father directly, and he will grant your request because you use my name. 24 You haven’t done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy. John 16:23-24
My take from that is just to keep praying, I know it's hard, sometimes I don't have the time, ok more like I feel like I don't have the time. But if God has all the time for me, how come I don't have the time for Him? And if I don't even have the time for Him, why do I get upset when He has yet to answer my prayer? Yeah I know I have a lot of growing up to do. HEEEE...
"I have so much to do that I shall spend the first three hours in prayer." Martin Luther
A friend shared that and I thought, dang that's hard. We only have 24 hours in a day and I have so much going on. Errr.. hello, God has a lot of prayers to answer, not just ours while I only have one God to pray to. So errrm... yeah.

So I guess, we just have to keep living our lives, work hard, play hard, PRAY hard, thrive for whatever it is we have in mind but when the time comes, in a snap of a finger, ask ourselves this, are we ready for God to take control? *GIGGLE* I think that sounded like "are you ready for a throw down?" by Bobby Flay. haha. My bad.

Xo for now,

-Na-
